Job Description: Store/Sales Manager
Duties:
- Manages counter operations, supervise counter personnel in the performance of copying, bindery, cleaning and stocking.
- Supply to the management a detailed list of supplies needed for counter operations.• Work with vendors/suppliers as it relates to all customers needs.
- Maintain customer fi les in a neat and orderly fashion: print and verify all invoices, fill out and verify all typesetting orders, business card orders, label orders, and other mail out orders as necessary - including processing all farmout orders.
- Supervises workers in assigned areas.
- Assists workers with problems and questions
- Is responsible for the quality and quantity of work performed.
- Directs training of new CSR’s.
- Performs and makes recommendations for method development.
- Provide timely Estimates/Quotes for customers and prospects.
- Consult with customers in regard to their printing, copying, graphic and other needs.
- Order entry and processing.
- Job scheduling for production.
- Takes telephone calls, answering questions, taking messages and giving information when necessary.
- Delivery of jobs as needed.
- Pick up and deliver information /fi les from/to clients as needed.
- Must be available for additional work in various other work areas as needed, i.e.. store maintenance, general stocking, receiving of supplies and bindery.
- Utilizing a time management tool to schedule and track your clients and prospects needs.
- Follow up on each job as it works its way through production.
- Required to participate in weekly manager meetings.
- Must be both reactive and proactive.
- Utilize survey forms and fact-fi nding analysis to discover your client’s needs from the immediate to their long-range needs.
- Coordinate print management programs with your customers. Controlling the inventory and future ordering of your client. (Fulfi llment services)
- Develop new business through a leads generation program. (All leads that come into your center by phone, walk in, referral, or any other method will be distributed to all account managers and salespersonnel at the discretion of the Sales Manager.)
- Maintain and manage store customer base.
- Develop and maintain a marketing plan to build relationships with store customers and prospects.
- Community involvement through associations or committees.
- Proactive Selling through:
- Target marketing.
- Reactivating in-active accounts.
- Face Calls – dropping off note pads, gathering name of purchaser, or other contacts.
- Additional responsibilities as outlined in the company Employee Manual.
- Other duties as assigned by Sales Manager / General Manager / Owners.
