Adobe Illustrator Files should be saved in Illustrator EPS (Encapsulated Postscript)
format for placement into a page layout program.
When saving files from Adobe Illustrator as .eps files, be sure that you select each
text block you have created and use the ‘create outlines’ selection from
the text drop down menu to covert the text to graphics. Once you have created curves
from your text. You will be unable to edit the text. Be sure to use a working copy of
your finished file for this conversion.
After converting all the text to outlines, use the save as function in the file drop
down menu to safe the file as IllustratorEPS.
Failure to convert fonts to outlines will cause poor output unless all the fonts
utilized are supplied separately. Extra charges to add the fonts would be incurred.
